Thembie Mapingire

I am a counsellor/Psychotherapist with over 20 years’ experience.  A former teacher with over 20 years’ experience both in the UK and abroad. My approach is CBT/integrative. I work with individuals, couples, families. Her special areas are children, young people and bereavement and loss. I have a special interest in relationships, parenting, stress management, self-harm, assertiveness, and trauma. I am also a clinical supervisor (I love working with couples and young people).  

I am a registered BACP member.

Qualifications:

  • MA in Counselling
  • Children and young people
  • Higher Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling  
  • Diploma in Clinical supervision. ‍
  • Languages: English, Ndebele, and Shona
